– Record daily production data, maintain production logs, and ensure accurate reporting.
– Track and file production orders, work schedules, and job sheets to maintain an organized and accessible database.
- Inventory Management
– Track raw materials, supplies, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels.
– Generate inventory reports and alert supervisors of shortages or delays in material supplies.
- Order Coordination
– Process and schedule production orders, ensuring accurate job allocation and scheduling to meet deadlines.
– Communicate with procurement to ensure materials and resources are available on time.
- Quality Assurance Support
– Record and report on quality checks and production progress, alerting the production supervisor of any deviations.
– Track rework orders, defective materials, and corrective actions for reporting and future reference.
- Communication and Coordination
– Serve as a liaison between production, warehouse, and procurement departments, facilitating communication on order status, material needs, and schedule changes.
– Update and inform production staff on job priorities, deadlines, and any adjustments to schedules.
- Data Entry and Reporting
– Input production data accurately into computer systems and generate reports for management review.
– Provide clerical support by maintaining electronic records and assisting with audits and inspections.
- Health and Safety Compliance
– Support the team in ensuring compliance with safety standards, by recording incidents, maintaining logs, and helping ensure employees are aware of safety protocols.
