HUMAN RESOURCE EXECUTIVE (FOREIGN WORKER)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, track, and renew work permits, PLKS, passports, and other legal documents.
- Handle documentation for work permit applications, visa endorsements, and approvals from relevant authorities (Immigration, Labour Department, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, immigration policies, and government regulations.
- Ensure proper arrangements for accommodation, transportation, and meals for newly recruited foreign workers.
- Handle grievances, disputes, or disciplinary matters involving foreign workers.
- Maintain accurate records of foreign workers (contracts, personal files, permits).
- Ensure foreign workers’ welfare, health, and safety are addressed in line with company policies.
- Plan and execute the repatriation process upon contract completion, termination, or disciplinary grounds.
- Ensure proper documentation for cancellation of work permits and exit clearance.
- Prepare monthly reports on foreign worker status (headcount, permit expiry, etc.).
- Support audits and inspections related to foreign labour.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (Immigration Department, JTK, etc.) on matters related to foreign workers.
- Recommend improvements in foreign worker management processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Top Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates in Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in foreign worker management, will have an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of the Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Immigration procedures, and labour regulations.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Reporting to the Senior HR Executive.
- Willing to reside in remote area (Bintulu, Sarawak).
