SENIOR ASSISTANT MILL MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for all aspects of palm oil mill related matters including management, planning, controlling, leading, organizing, and managing people to ensure the whole operation are running smoothly, efficiently, and cost effectively.
• Overall in-charge of palm oil mill operations and ensure the operations are in compliance  with prescribed policies and procedures and in line with industry best practices
• Maintains active communication with senior management, and continuously feedback on mill
• To plan, organize, implement, and control mill processing and maintenance
• To perform budgeting, control mill expenditure, and ensure maximum profitability of operations
• Assist Mill Manager to ensure compliance with all Company operating policies, procedures and standing
• Assist Mill Manager on projects, assessing project requirements, budgets, timescales, and
• Overseeing in direct assistance and collaboration with the Mill Manager on overall operations of the production plant, its machineries and equipment
• Ensure healthy yields of Oil Extraction Rates & Kernel Extraction Rates with production targets and reduced
• Planning and optimizing production, manpower planning and
• Ensure compliance and overseeing the DOE, DOSH, HSE and other regulatory

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree Holder in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial) or any other related engineering
• Minimum of six (6) years of working experience in handling the full operations of a Palm Oil Mill.
• Possesses a 2nd Grade Steam Engineer Certificate of
• Applicants who do not have relevant experience in a Palm Oil Mill need not apply.
• Experience in operating Vertical Sterilizers will be an advantage.
• Excellent Leadership, presentation, strong analytical skills and administration management.
