Chef De Partie

Job Description :-

  1. To help create local sourced menus, that use indigenous local ingredients creatively
  2. The ability to motivate, supervise and be a role model for employees to follow and learn from.
  3. The ability to run the day to day operation of any area of the kitchen in the absence of the sous chef or senior chef on duty.
  4. The ability to taste and season the food appropriately and to ensure it is well presented and of the standard and quality required before serving it to the guest.
  5. The ability to distribute work equally to employees and follow up that instructions have been completed to hotel standards.

Requirement :-

  1. Previous experience in similar position within a 4/5* Hotel or high-quality restaurant
  2. Experience in Chinese Set / Banquet in Hotel or restaurant / Specialties in Seafood or traditional dishes.
  3. Proven experience catering for meetings, events & weddings
  4. Has experience in Malay and western cuisine will be added advantage
  5. Show a good command of the English language.
