Cove 55 are looking for a dynamic, talented & dedicated assistant hotel manager to join our award winning team. This is a unique opportunity for career development at the highest level in a boutique luxury property at International level.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven experience as a hotel departmental manager. Confidence in handling guests with high expectations and directing staff to achieve the hotels goals is required. You must be a dedicated hospitality professional who is honest, self-motivated and strives to succeed.
You will work well under pressure while possessing the following additional competencies:
- Previous experience in hotel management role within a 4*/5* Hotel
- Have a keen eye for attention to detail
- Show an excellent command of the English language
- Strong Management and Inter-Personal skills
- Experienced in guest liaison techniques
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Be able to work unsupervised to a flexible time schedule at all times
- Strong computer skills and financial acumen are necessary
- Experienced in training staff and creating training plans
- Have a background that includes F&B positions
- Highly organized and proactive
Duties & Responsibilities
The assistant manager is solely responsible for the resort in the presence & absence of the resort manager/s. As an ambassador for Cove55 staff and guests you are required to actively promote the quality image of the hotel at every opportunity.
You are responsible to provide professional service to our guests and staff ensuring guests stay will become a memorable experience and staff are engaged, challenged and contented in their working roles.
You will be involved in all key decisions managing the property and will be responsible for maintaining the team and hotel standards
Your role will include Assignments in any and every area of the resort at any time of day/night and during resort events.
It is of key importance to note that Cove55 is a small boutique property and thus it will be important and regularly required to perform duties outside of your job description as requested/required by the Resort Manager/s.
